The Very Beginning!!

My wife and I started detailing cars (hence the name Shine Shop) in our “down” time in the early 1980’s along with our other full time employment. At the time, I was working at the Texaco Service Station on Bonita Beach Road.  One of our customers asked me to please tint her car windows.  I explained that I had never done that before, but she said that she would purchase the film if I would try it.  That was our beginning!  Word got out quickly about the film that I had installed, and next thing I knew, I was tinting and detailing cars and started my very own business!!  The work grew into automotive accessories (including headliners & sunroofs) and then installation of commercial and residential solar film.  Our residential/commercial business grew to the point where  we closed our auto tint & accessory shop to work exclusively on commercial and residential solar film installation.  That brings us to where we are today.  We have thousands of satisfied customers from Venice all the way to Everglades City.
