Below, you find helpful information that will extend the life of your window film, giving you and your family years of safety and comfort in your home!

FILM DRY-OUT TIME

During the installation process, the installer will remove as much of the water solution as possible, although a small amount will remain. Trapped installation moisture can cause water bubbles and/or a slightly cloudy look. This is normal and should be expected. Do not attempt to pierce a water bubble during the dry-out period. Water bubbles and the cloudiness will gradually dissipate. Attempting to pierce a water bubble in an effort to drain moisture will damage your film. This damage is not covered by the warranty.

CLIMATE CONDITIONS & DRY-OUT TIME

Film type selection and climate conditions will determine the dry-out period you experience. While warm weather and direct sun light exposure will shorten the dry-out time, cooler climates, shaded areas, cloudy weather and thicker films can lengthen the drying time. If slow drying occurs, don't be alarmed. The trapped moisture will dry-out completely. Dry-out times can vary from just a few days to as much as 90 days.

CLEANING

Do not clean the film for 30 days after installation. This will insure proper curing of the special mounting adhesive to the glass.

CLEANING SOLUTIONS

A teaspoon of liquid dish soap in a spray bottle filled with water works really well. Just spray on the glass and using a SOFT rubber squeegee dry the glass. You can wipe the edges with a SOFT cloth. Never use paper towel or newspaper.

To avoid scratching the film, do not use bristle brushes, paper towel, scrubbing sponges, or any cleaning material that may have been contaminated with dirt particles.

NO TAPE OF ANY KIND, OR SUCTION CUPS SHOULD EVER BE PLACED ON THE FILM.
